The first look, the groomsmen who can't stand still, the dog in a flower collar. The loose hour everyone forgets and everyone wants back.
5:00 PM / III
Two cameras, a mic on your officiant and one on you. Vows are the only part of the day nobody can ask you to say twice, so they get planned that way.
6:30 PM / IV
The best man, your dad, a video from the friend who couldn't make the trip. Every speaker is mic'd and mixed, so years from now you hear the words, not just the laughter.
7:50 PM / V
In a box canyon the sun slips behind the ridge early and takes its time about it. Twenty minutes, just the two of you. This is the part you'll show people.
9:30 PM / VI
The first dance becomes everyone's dance. The band finds its groove, your grandparents take the floor, and a tunnel of hands sends you off into the night. I stay for the last song.

I walk the timeline with your photographer and planner ahead of time, from where we'll stand for the vows to when we'll slip away for golden hour.
Everyone knows the plan, so nobody is in anyone's shot and nothing gets missed. You get to be present. We'll take care of the rest.
Behind the camera
I live and work in Telluride. Most of my days are spent filming architecture and the mountains around it, which turns out to be good training for weddings here: knowing where the light falls at 7:50 on a July evening, which ridgelines the drone can fly, and how long it takes to get from the gondola to the meadow in a dress.
I shoot quietly and I don't stage moments. You'll barely notice me until you watch the film.

For the 2027 season, Essentials coverage is $3,000 for six hours or $3,500 for seven. The Feature is $4,000 for eight hours. Each includes a 3 to 5 minute cinematic film and drone aerials where permitted. Full Story is $5,000 for ten hours and adds multi-camera coverage, a one minute highlight reel within two weeks, and full ceremony and toast films.
I'm based in Telluride and film all over the San Juan Mountains: Telluride, Mountain Village, Ophir, Ridgway, Ouray, Silverton and the high country between them. If your wedding is somewhere else in Colorado or beyond, ask. I'm happy to travel.
Summer and early fall Saturdays in Telluride go first. Many couples reach out 9 to 12 months ahead, but it's always worth asking about your date, even if it's soon.
Afternoon storms are part of a mountain summer. We plan a covered backup with your planner ahead of time, and some of the best footage happens in the weather. Kate and Adam said their vows under clear umbrellas.
Always. I walk the timeline with both before the wedding and plan camera positions for the vows, the first look and the toasts, so nobody ends up in anyone else's shot.
Within an estimated 8 to 10 weeks of the wedding. Full Story couples get a one minute highlight reel within two weeks, so there's something to share while the full film is being cut.
You're welcome to send songs you love and ones you don't. Final music, pacing and shot selection are a creative call, and everything is properly licensed so your film can live on social without getting muted.
Usually, yes. Drone aerials are included wherever the venue and airspace allow. Some spots in and around Telluride restrict flights, and I'll check yours before the day.
The recap is your day told in three to five minutes, set to music. The full ceremony and full toasts films are the complete, unedited moments with clean audio, the ones you'll rewatch on anniversaries.
You book directly with me. A 40% retainer holds your date, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. Weekend coverage can be added any time.
Yes. Everything shot on the day, delivered on an SSD, for $250 plus the cost of the drive.
